Mission
To support the pastor and his family morally, spiritually, and financially while fostering a spirit of love, unity, and service within the church.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support and Prayer
- Consistently pray for the pastor, his family, and their needs.
- Offer words of encouragement and gratitude to uplift the pastoral family.
- Demonstrate love and support through actions that show appreciation.
2. Assistance to the First Family
- Celebrate important occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays for the pastor and his family.
- Organize events and activities, including:
- Christmas and Thanksgiving celebrations.
- Pastor’s Appreciation Day.
- Provide moral, spiritual, and financial assistance as needed to support their ministry goals.
3. Fulfilling Practical Needs
- Supply necessary items for the pastor’s office or pulpit, such as robes, study materials, and other resources.
- Coordinate arrangements for guest preachers, ensuring their stay and needs are managed with care.
- Encourage church members to participate in ministry work and support initiatives for the pastor.
4. Care for the Church and Community
- Reach out to members who have been absent from Sunday services to express care and concern.
- Visit elderly, sick, or bereaved members in hospitals, nursing homes, or their homes to provide support.
- Welcome visitors to the church, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Respond to bereavements within the church community by sending cards, flowers, or other expressions of sympathy.
